Roach City (population - 4,460,242) - The Commonwealth's capital city is also it's largest and most populated. Despite its humble beginnings and turbulent history, Roach City has consistently grown to become one of the nation's most powerful cities. Noble Valley (population - 44,992) - Considered by many to be an extension of Highborne Hollow, Noble Valley has made a name for itself for having the highest average real estate prices in the nation. Famously known for its top-rated wines produced by Noble Valley Vineyards, Noble Valley is a society of breathtaking wealth and class. The well manicured city serves as home to many famously wealthy families as well as Fortune 500 executives. Wellston Township (population - 110,072) - Wellston Township is quickly becoming a city of great influence. Though the wealth of its citizenry does not rise to the status of Noble Valley, the city is home to the Wellston Academy, one of the most exclusive and accomplished universities in the nation. Employing only the most respected of professors, Wellston has earned quite a reputation. Graduates of the academy can be found occupying the highest levels of industry, arts, and politics. New Commons (population - 364,230) - New Commons is the most populated of the cities surrounding Roach City. Growing rapidly over the last two decades, New Commons has become the obvious option for middle class citizens seeking close proximity, while avoiding the crime and congestion of the big city. Best known for a stretch of road aptly named "Culinary Way", New Commons provides its residents and visitors with some of the best food money can buy. Littered with award-winning restaurants, many operated by world-renowned chefs, New Commons is well established on the culinary map. Richland (population - 22,871) - Richland has long been a town steeped in agricultural development. Eighty percent of its land mass is dedicated to farmland. One of the largest Farmer's Markets in the region operates along Richland's northern border. Providing a wealth of products to Roach City manufacturers as well restaurateurs has helped Richland become a thriving community. Dolltown (population - 39,645) - In 1845, a community of Gypsies migrated to a stretch of land south of Roach City. In 1892, the large community, headed by its five most powerful clans, successfully lobbied to be declared an official city of the Commonwealth. Word quickly spread throughout, that for a price any and all women found within Dolltown's borders were available for sexual purposes. Though many thought this to be a joke, it soon became known that this fact was actually written into the bylaws of the city. In fact, the crime of rape does not exist within the borders of Dolltown. In 1923, Gerald S. Roygine famously visited Dolltown where he would violently beat and rape a woman. For this he was only charged with assault and theft (acquisition of services without proper restitution). On the charge of assault, Gerald was sentenced to probation. On the charge of theft, Gerald was ordered to pay $23. After paying the $23, Gerald was beaten to death on the courthouse steps by three unidentified assailants. No charges were ever filed in the death of Gerald S. Roygine. To this day, Dolltown's number one industry is by far the marketing of sex. The Five Clan Council serves as Dolltown's only government body, operating primarily on a twenty percent tax on all transactions. Punition (population - 23,176) - The town of Punition is most known for its prison system. Over the years it has expanded from one Penitentiary to a large complex of prisons housing all manor of criminal. The population of the city consists largely of corrections officers, prison employees, and their families. The resident population of the city has been recorded at just over 23,000, however when the inmate population is taken into account the population rises to well over 40,000. Los Muertos (population - 331,043) - In the late 1800's, Mexican immigrants began to merge with this small spanish community. Today the city has grown to a respectable size, featuring an 85 % Hispanic community. It is said that the cities of the Commonwealth would wither away if not for Roach City, Los Muertos appears to be the exception to that rule. Very few of Los Muertos residents seek work outside its borders, nor is the cities commerce reliant on Roach City. Los Muertos is a fully functioning society, featuring its own farms, ranches, clothing, manufacturing plants, etc. With little in the way of import or export Los Muertos is an almost completely self contained society. Bricktown (population - 97,679) - Bricktown is a city born and raised on the industrial front. Situated on the Purify River, Bricktown was a major player in the industrial revolution. From its steel mills, to mine shafts, to oil derricks, this hardened blue collar community has seen better days. With the original brick roads and buildings in severe disrepair, the town continues to struggle to remain alive. Bricktown's population is currently less than half what it was a decade earlier. Deadland Desert (population - 1,147) - Nearly 400 square miles of the Commonwealth is occupied solely by the Deadland Desert. With exception to a strip of usable land along the Purify River, the area known as the Deadland Desert is largely uninhabited. This small community of fisherman and traders live mostly out of small trailer park communities just off the river. Restricted Area (population- ?) - In the years preceding World War II a long 30 foot high fence was erected along portions of the borders of Punition, Los Muertos, and Bricktown. Signs on the fence simply state - NO TRESPASSING - US GOVERNMENT PROPERTY. Since 1938, the airspace above this land has been deemed a no fly zone to all non-military personnel. It is not uncommon to see military vehicles in the vicinity; however the purpose of this secretive establishment remains a mystery.
